The Tempstar Deluxe Air Purifier Combats Airborne Viruses and Bacteria

Relies on unique Captures & Kills Technology The Tempstar®

Deluxe

Air Purifier, developed by International Comfort Prod- ucts (ICP), relies on unique Captures & Kills technology to capture and deactivate certain airborne viruses and bacteria. ICP is a part of UTC Building & Industrial

Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX). “We are excited to an- nounce the new Tempstar De- luxe Air Purifi er with Captures & Kills technology,” said Ryan Mayes, marketing manager, ICP. “It treats 100 percent of the air flowing through the home comfort system so everyone can breathe a little easier.”

Among the features hom- eowners will enjoy: Patented Captures & Kills technology. Here is how it works:

Step 1: As particles enter

the Tempstar Deluxe Air Puri- fi er, they are electrostatically drawn to the charged fi lter fi bers and pulled out of the air.

Step 2: Captured particles are held tightly to the fi lter fi bers.

Step 3: The air purifi er kills or deactivates the captured particles, essentially electro- cuting the germs and viruses. An electrical charge breaks the cell wall of the germs to inactivate them, leaving homeowners with cleaner, healthier air.

Dealers will appreciate: Application fl exibility: The

Tempstar Deluxe Air Purifi er can be installed in a horizontal or vertical position, making it easily adaptable to horizontal, downfl ow or standard upfl ow applications.. Visit www.tempstar.com or www.gotempstar.com for more information on the new Tempstar Deluxe Air Purifi er with Captures & Kills technol- ogy. 
