Serta Launches New Charitable Program and Sweepstakes

Since 1990, Fisher House Foundation has


provided more than 5,200,000 days of lodg- ing to 200,000 families that have loved ones receiving treatments at military and veteran’s hospitals. Serta’s new program will aim to bring comfort to the growing number of oc- cupants staying at Fisher House locations all over the U.S. “Serta will redefine what it means to comfort our troops and their families


through our new cause program—Ser- ta Comforts Our Heroes,” said Andrew Gross, senior vice president of marketing for Serta. “Through this partnership, Serta will bring much needed items to the indi- vidual Fisher House locations, benefitting the families that stay there. We are also asking consumers to support the Fisher House Foundation through a Twitter cam- paign that gives back.”

program, Serta hopes to learn about what comforts people the most with a national sweepstakes that will benefit Fisher House. From favorite blankets, to pets, to comfort foods, Serta is encouraging consumers to share via Twitter what brings them the most comfort in life by utilizing the hashtag #SertaComforts. For every qualifying photo,


Serta will donate one night’s sleep to Fisher House Foundation, up to 2,500 nights paid for by Serta. During the sweepstakes, Serta will select one participant each week to re- ceive a set of new and improved iComfort Scrunch Pillows, filled with the same Cool Action Dual Effects gel memory foam fea- tured in Serta’s new iComfort mattresses and valued at $79 each.
