Epernay is Birmingham’s premier Champagne bar and has a reputation for delivering celebrations with style. Their impressive Christmas party menu this year sees diners spoilt for choice with a delicious range of dishes that are sprinkled with festive flavours. Choose from four tempting starters such as Breaded Goats Cheese, Caramelised Onion with Brandy Balsamic Twist or Homemade Duck and Cointreau Pâté with Festive Cranberry Sauce, before indulging in the likes of Turkey and Pancetta Parcel with Stuffing and all the trimmings, Goats Cheese, Mascarpone and Sun-dried Tomato Mousse Wrapped in Puff Pastry, or their tasty Lamb and Seabass options. From traditional Christmas Pudding to White Chocolate Cheesecake, their desserts will ensure a sweet ending to your celebration. Fine champagnes and wines are offered by the glass, as well as by the bottle and their cocktail list is simply fabulous! Pennyblacks, the contemporary wine and alehouse, has worked up a festive feast that puts the party into your festive dining experience! There are winter warmers to start such as Broccoli and Stilton Soup right through to Honey BBQ Chicken Wings and Nachos and the main courses won’t disappoint either, with Turkey Parcel wrapped in Pancetta or Cod Wrapped in Smoked Salmon, plus a delicious festive take on the Great British Burger topped with Brie and Cranberry and served up with Chunky Chips! If you’re in two minds where to host your party, the desserts should seal the deal, the Christmas Sponge Torpedo with Mince Pie Ice Cream caught our eye! Sunday to Wednesday £22.95, Thursday to Saturday £26.95 and there’s a DJ to add to your entertainment on Thursday/Friday and Saturday nights.
