Introducing Nicky Archibald & a career change for Jo-Anne Baker MacPhee & Partners
CAREER CHANGE Jo-Anne Baker, Oban
After spending the last 5 years managing our Oban property office, the time has now come for me to progress with my legal studies. In that time, there has been a huge amount of change within the property market, making my job very interesting and challenging, with every day offering something new.
I have thoroughly enjoyed
my time in the Estate Agency, meeting lots of new clients and assisting them in buying, selling and renting property, for most of them, their biggest asset. When I made my decision to advance my legal career, I knew it was very important that the right person was in place to take over as manager of our Oban office. I am therefore pleased that Nicky will be joining our team here at MacPhee & Partners. Nicky brings with her a wealth of experience and I am sure will be a valuable asset to our team.
I am delighted to have this opportunity to further my career with MacPhee and Partners and I look forward to being a part of our legal team here in Oban.
NEW APPOINTMENT Nicky Archibald - Property Manager, Oban
I was delighted to be invited to join MacPhee & Partners’ estate agency team and to become part of this long established and respected local firm. My sales and marketing career has spanned several sectors both in England and abroad and included 7 years in recruitment running my own company. I have always had a passion for property, so it seemed a natural progression to property sales when an opportunity arose several years ago with a Dunoon based estate agency looking to expand expand into North Argyll. This was followed by a period with a newly established Oban agency where I successfully helped to build the sales portfolio.
I grew up and was educated in London and lived and worked in Kent, Northumberland and the Netherlands before moving to Scotland. I graduated with an MBA and recently gained the Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property Scotland. I am also a member of the National Association of Estate Agents. The
West Coast has long been a favourite location for me and I feel privileged to be able to live and work in such a beautiful place. At what is a very interesting time for the Scottish property market, I am honoured to be part of MacPhee & Partners’ very successful and experienced property team.
