CLASS GUIDELINES

✤Maintain confidentiality outside of class by not repeating what is said in class. This also includes not speaking to the partici- pants outside of class about information shared in class about themselves unless the participant him/herself initiates the conver- sation.

✤Arrive early for class to settle in, if possible.

✤If you must miss a class or will be late, please let me know so I can go over the missed material with you at a later date. If you are going to miss more than 2 classes consider taking this pro- gram at another time.

✤Trust that you will remember the information covered in class. If you need to take notes, please do so discretely.

✤If you have difficulty hearing what is being said, please ask the speakers to be louder and position yourself close to the instruc- tor.

✤During the class you may drink water, but not food or other drinks (unless medically necessary). You can arrive a little early if you want to eat a snack or drink other non-alcoholic beverages before class starts.

✤Disable your watch alarm, turn off your cell phones, and set your pagers to vibrate.

✤In the interest of participants who are sensitive to fragrances, please do not wear perfume, after-shave lotion, or other fra- grances to class. This includes detergents, shampoos, and other products that use strong fragrances.
