Volunteer Board Directors Required
for Local Charity Maidstone Community Support Centre (MCSC) is an exceptional local charity based in the town centre providing office accommodation and other key services to 30 partner charities and the broader community. We are currently looking for new trustees to join our board as we continue to grow and expand our services.
Charity trustees provide direction and governance for the organisation and these positions offer an opportunity to make a real difference to our community.
The board currently has 7 established members and meets monthly for 2 hours, although there may also be some ad hoc involvement between meetings.
Specifically, we would be interested in hearing from you if you have a background in Finance or Property Management (construction, surveying or other related discipline). In addition we are seeking “good all-rounders” who feel they would like to make a difference in a general capacity.
Previous experience of being a trustee is definitely not a requirement as we have comprehensive induction programmes and mentoring schemes in place.
We welcome all applications especially from women as they are currently underrepresented on our board.
Join our committed team and enjoy the opportunity to make a difference. The role is unpaid but all out-of-pocket expenses are met.
To apply please send a CV and covering letter to:-
