for hospice STONEACRE National Trust Garden in Otham is one of the gardens opening as part of the Heart of Kent Hospice’s fundraising Open Gardens Scheme this year. The garden will be open
from 11am to 4pm on Wednesday, June 4. The sug- gested donation for admission to the garden and house is £5 for adults and £3 for children, who must be accompanied. There is no wheelchair ac- cess, but toilets, parking and refreshments are available. The privately-owned garden
of Knowle Hill House, in Ul- combe, will be open from 2- 6pm on Saturday, June 21. The property has two-and-a- half acres of walled gardens, lawns and herbaceous borders and a collection of trees and shrubs.
