Manor’s annex turned down Caravans planned
A PROPOSAL to replace outbuildings with a two-bedroom annex in Crismill Lane, near Bearsted, was refused. The owners of Crismill Manor wanted the building to accommo-
date their teenage daughters, but Maidstone Council’s decision no- tice said: “By virtue of the design, siting and scale of the replacement annex building, it would result in significant harm to the setting of a grade II listed building for which there is no policy justification.” The council also had concerns about the impact on a protected tree.
