46 summer hospitality Where did you get that hat? The Hat Hire Boutique has opened in Reading, offering a stunning collection of over 400 hats, writes Katie Rolfe
Why buy a hat when you can hire one?
Wear a different hat to every event, give a whole new look to a favourite dress and no longer feel obliged to wear the same hat again because it wasn't cheap and you really should get more use out of it. Hiring a hat allows you the freedom to be bolder and have more fun with your choices. It is not such a long-term or hefty investment that will need to work in a number of different settings.
To top it all, you won't need to store a growing collection of bulky hat boxes on top of a wardrobe gathering dust.
Based in Emmer Green on the outskirts of Reading, The Hat Hire Boutique hosts a collection of over 400 stunning hats and hair accessories which are available to hire for formal events such as weddings, races and regattas, investitures, summer garden parties and christenings.
We operate by appointment only so you can have the whole boutique to yourself whilst trying on as many hats as you like. Bring your outfit, and you are also welcome to bring a partner or friend to help you choose which of the many gorgeous hats to take home with you. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
