Music provides an opportunity to socialise with other like-minded people through rehearsal and performance. It also nurtures many different skills such as confidence, creativity and perseverance, as one of the qualities musicians possess is discipline. You have to be disciplined in order to master playing your instrument. Learning an instrument also instils a sense of achievement. Playing a musical

learning to speak another language and it can be challenging at times, bringing both a sense of fulfilment and, most importantly, fun.

Sixth form and Year 11 are in the final stages of their exam preparation.
Year 8 are choosing their GCSE options ready for their journey to success.
Year 6 commence their induction with us over the next coming weeks. They will learn about Holmesdale’s high expectations. They will be well looked after.
