The company has already left audiences in Liverpool open-mouthed with its giant spider in 2008 and the stunning Sea Odyssey in 2012. Effectively they bring giant puppets as the characters in extravagant street theatre. This year’s event, marking the outbreak of war in 1914, is expected to bring over 1m visitors to Liverpool. So in one incredible 10-day sequence,


the world’s greatest golfers will battle to conclusion on the links of Hoylake and


the giants of 1914 will tell their story on thronged streets of Liverpool. The world’s media will dance attendance and Merseyside will be front of stage on TV, web and print, the world over. To the hard-headed business brains
