FLORIDA FAIR NEWS Osceola County Fair


The Osceola County Fair is the largest annual event in Osceola County! Over 90,000 people attended our Fair this year! This 10-day event showcased our County’s agriculture through 4-H and FFA programs.

During the Fair visitors enjoyed great food, a


variety of shows, entertainment and youth/commercial exhibits, along with exciting midway rides provided by Strates Shows. Thank you to all who visited, we are already planning our 2015 Fair.


Locally Grown, Locally Sewn, a Community Stitched Together is the theme of the 49th Annual St. Lucie


County Fair. The fair opened at 4PM on Friday February 28 and runs through Sunday March 9. The first weekend opened with a 2 day PRCA Rodeo Friday and Satur- day night and the final Saturday includes

South Florida Fair Has “A Great Run”

2014 South Florida Fair. We’ve had a good run thus far but today we’ve got our first rainy day and the fore- cast


day, and into tomorrow. Our staff, like any Fair staff faced with this weather challenge, is hoping (and praying) for a strong clos- ing weekend. We spend our days checking gates and parking operations,


making sure our exhibitors are all doing well, keeping our live- stock competitions on schedule and communicating with our mid- way provider on ride operations and, on busy days, how long the lines might be. We’re deep into the business side of our Fairs…… doing what we do.
