New and Exciting Entertainment for the Entire Family to Enjoy at The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair, March 13-30, 2014
Each March, more than half a million people attend The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposi-
tion, the largest and most popular event of its kind in South Florida. This year, The Youth Fair, as it is known to most, will take place March 13 – 30, 2014, and all 18 days will offer a wide variety of brand new, thrilling entertainment, including: Ma’Ceo presented by Cavallo Equestrian Arts- A Vegas-quality performance featuring a high-energy acrobatic equestrian stunt
show, captivating sounds of Spanish, gypsy music and beautiful costumes. Cowtown- A hands-on entertainment experience that takes youngsters on an educational journey through what’s genuinely organic and homemade. Kids will enjoy a live cow and goat’s exhibit, as well as have the opportunity to learn how to make ice cream, cheese, butter and soap.

farmtastic! The Nerveless Nocks Daredevils and Extreme Wheels Show- An Xtremely Xhilarating motorcycle
show packed with death-defying acts. The Future of Magic Show- This interactive, magical show will transport adults back to childhood and kids forward to the future. Original grand illusions, comedy magic, spectacular costumes, along with special effects and robots, are all part of the show. World Record Balloon Stunt- A legendary balloon stunt show that has traveled all across North
America and as far as China. It currently holds the record of 18 adults inside a giant 6’ latex balloon. Mr. Nice Guy Band- Performing on opening day and every Saturday, this music group is comprised of members who have worked with some of the greatest names in entertainment, including the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Santana and Stevie Wonder. Juicy’s– With a retrofitted tractor-trailer measuring 100 feet and weighing 27 tons, Juicy’s, purveyor
of county fair favorites, boasts the world’s largest mobile outdoor grill. The “Outlaw Grill,” as it is called, can cook more than 1,000 food items simultaneously. On March 21st, it will attempt to make the largest commercially available hot dog in a competition that’s sure to mesmerize hungry audiences. Bring your appetite! Backdraft- This fire themed ride is new to The Youth Fair this year. It boasts seven cars, which light up and hold up to four passengers each. Coaster cars gently climb up three levels before rushing down and around. A ride for teens and adults, Backdraft sends riders on a hair-raising trip over the tracks. The Youth Fair will also feature live, one-day performances from a variety of artists, including: Internationally renowned, Latin music sensations, Willy Chirino and Albita. Los 3 de La Habana and Timbalive playing contemporary Latin tunes. Cynthia, Rockwell, Noel and TKA singing and celebrating 90’s classics in a “Freestyle Extravaganza.” Contempo- rary Christian artists Sonic Flood and Matthew West uplifting and
inspiring crowds with their engaging performances. Additionally, for those who enjoy the sights and sounds of championship wrestling, The Youth Fair will host the Superstars of Wrestling on Friday, March 14.
Also part of the entertainment line-up are fairgoer favorites Tadpole and Katie, the dynamic duo of
strolling clowns, the petting zoo and the red and white big top theatre, Hanneford Circus. Plus, children of all ages can cheer for their favorite little “ham” at the Show Me Safari Pig Races. “I believe the 2014 Miami-Dade County Youth Fair line-up of shows, concerts and new concessions is
very simply second to none in our incredible history,” said Bob Hohenstein, President and CEO. “You couple our line-up of special events with the sensational value of our revamped Pay One Price Unlimited Ride Card program and I feel we have things in place for our most successful Youth Fair in many years.” For the first time ever, the Youth Fair will offer POP (Pay-One-Price) Ride Cards for the weekends,
allowing unlimited rides for one price. The cost is $20 when purchased in advance and will be valid for any one-day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday, during the 18 days of The Youth Fair. Fairgo- ers purchasing them at the gate during the run of The Youth Fair may purchase them for $25 on weekdays and $35 on weekends, making it a huge savings for attendees who purchase them in advance. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the Express Access Pass allowing them to board all their favorite rides in an expedited manner through the Express Lane. The Express Access Pass will be priced at $15 each and is available on-site and online. Advance sales are a key component for The Youth Fair, with more than 500 fundraising accounts participating in 2013, totaling more than $1.8 million in advance sales. In another first, The Youth Fair announced it will be Senior Day everyday! All adults 65 and better will be admitted FREE every day, all day.
