after a lot of talk and investigating with the municipality we have purchased the church building. The original pews are still there, the high ceilings and the cemetery (which was still part of our farm as it had never been deeded over to the municipality). We aren’t sure yet what we will do with

A stroke and old age have meant the end of a lot of the involvement this mar- velous historian widow has been able to stay involved in and as time has passed the church slowly stopped being utilized and soon no one came on Sundays to worship and the only visitors were those who came for an annual picnic and day of reflection of the old days spent in the church building. There was talk of tearing the building down. My husband was aghast at the beautiful
