People Do Make A Difference! Each year the Ontario Reining Horse Association has the privilege to nominate one of
our members for the Ontario Equestrian Federation’s People Make a Difference Award. This award is to recognize the efforts of those people who work behind the scenes to improves and better our association. Past recipients include John & Sharon Fletcher (2012), Wendy Dyer (2010), John Purdie (2009), Harvey Stevens (2008), and Mike Munroe (2007). This year the ORHA was very proud to nominate Carol Ivey for the OEF’s People Make
a Difference Award. Over the years, Carol contributions to our organization have been plenti- ful: four years as the ORHA President, working with and advising the board, sponsoring classes at the shows and awards at the banquet, advising the youth club, resurrecting the Slid- er and so much more. Carol has certainly gone and continues to go “above and beyond” with her time and dedication and this award is well-deserved.
