here. We have passion, knowledge and we know where all our coffee and other produce comes from. “We believe that you will have to
look to Bath or London to find the quality of the coffees we provide.” It would be fair to say Barry has
the strongest coffee knowledge of the team, even competing in various coffee making competitions, while Mandy is head chef in the kitchen, freshly making a variety of sandwiches, cakes and soups. “We try and use local produce
wherever we can. We go to Bramley’s for fruit and vegetables and use the butchers, Michael Hart and Son for our meat,” continued Barry.
“We use natural flavours in our
coffee too and we get the beans from local roaster, Rave. There’s nothing artificial in our coffee at all.”
Despite having extensive coffee
knowledge and being regularly praised for their unique beverages, Barry and Mandy don’t just focus on the coffee. They also work hard to bring high quality teas, hot chocolates and food to Cirencester as well. Customers are spoilt for choice
at lunchtime with grilled ciabattas, flatbreads, fresh baguettes and individual pizzas, all made by Mandy, to order to eat in or take away. Winter Fairytale, Superfruit, and
Chai are just a small selection of the wide variety of teas on offer and the award-winning hot chocolates go down a treat with customers in need of a pick-me-up on a wet afternoon. Now open for almost half a
year the business partners say they often hear promising feedback. “It never tires to hear
people say ‘that was the best coffee I’ve ever had’” said Mandy. Tourists and locals alike
have had nothing but praise for Cotswold Artisan Coffee and have even taken to
TripAdvisor to leave reviews which have left Barry and Mandy delighted. One review called the shop “Cirencester’s best kept secret” with another saying there was no other coffee with the same quality in the area. With sparkling reviews,
carefully made coffee, and a variety of homemade cakes, it’s no wonder both visitors and Cirencester residents are flocking to Cotswold Artisan Coffee. Visit Cotswold Artisan
