CRICKLADE Charity Abseil. Thrill seekers will be able to take a leap of faith this spring in a charity event in Cricklade. On Sunday, May 11, there will be a charity abseil taking place inside St Sampson’s church on Bath Road to raise money for Christian charity, Christian Aid. Participants will be able to shoot down from inside the tower into the chancel of the church. Good fitness, the ability to climb seven flights of stairs and flexibility is what is required to take part. It costs £15 to enter and each participant will need to raise a minimum of £200. www. christianaid.org.uk
