The Caledonian Challenge The Caledonian Challenge (14-15 June) involves teams of 4 or more walking 54 miles in 24 hours, through some of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside, to raise money for Foundation Scotland. Since its inception in 1996, over 16,000 participants have raised nearly £13m for the Foundation which uses its grant making expertise to distribute the funds to improve the lives of individuals and community groups throughout Scotland. The Caledonian Hike (14 June), a less gruelling trek, involves teams of two or more walking 24 miles in 12 hours; with less training and fundraising required, the Hike is a fantastic alternative to the Challenge, and the rewards are just as plentiful! www.caledonianchallenge.com

Proud to be Purple Once again Erskine Week will run from 1 - 8 June 2014.

This dedicated week of fundraising will see supporters pull out all the stops for the charity that cares for ex-service men and women across Scotland. Raising vital funds in the current economic climate is challenging. By asking everyone to pull together and raise what they can, it allows Erskine to continue honouring those who didn’t come home and to care for those who did. Whether you hold a Big Purple Lunch or simply wear something purple to work, every penny raised will benefi t the veterans in Erskine’s care. Tel: 0300 123 1203, Email: gopurple@erskine.org.uk
