LIVERPOOL HOPE UNIVERSITY Offering International Students Affordable Academic Excellence

When you are deciding where to attend university, there are lots of factors to consider, and not just around possible courses. The cost of living, tuition fees and accommodation prices are all important and can greatly affect the overall cost of your education.

For international students considering studying in UK, Liverpool can provide a high standard of living at competitive prices and can be around 20% cheaper than living in London. The city has excellent access to travel networks and is close to many cultural and tourist attractions and areas of natural beauty.

International students choosing to study at Liverpool Hope University experience many of these benefits. As Mercy Ewohime, MA Global Politics , recommends: “To anyone who pursues studying at Liverpool Hope University, trust me because I've been there, you will never ever regret it.”.

Scholarships at Liverpool Hope University

At Liverpool Hope, we believe entry to university should be based on talent rather than the ability to pay, and we therefore provide a range of generous International Scholarships.

Each year at Liverpool Hope, we offer five International Postgraduate Scholarships to outstanding students who hold an offer for a

Postgraduate (Taught) Masters programme. These substantial scholarships cover 50 per cent of course fees and are awarded to students with excellent academic profiles and demonstrable social and community involvement.

We also offer a range of other postgraduate scholarships including Commonwealth Scholarships and International Excellence Bursaries, along with undergraduate scholarships including awards for excellence in Music. For full information on the scholarships available at Liverpool Hope, please visit our website.

International Student Packages Scholarships aren’t the only affordable way to study at Liverpool Hope University. We have created a range of competitive, value for money packages designed specifically to meet the needs of international students studying in the UK.

All of our packages include tuition fees, an annual food allowance of up to £1,000, and accommodation in our Halls of Residence. Currently, our undergraduate packages start from £13,200 and our postgraduate packages from £9,800 for an MA (for the 2014-15 academic year). For further details of the packages available, please contact us by emailing international@hope.ac.uk.

Additional Support At Liverpool Hope, it’s not just financial support we offer. We understand that attending university in a foreign country can be an

exciting, yet sometimes daunting prospect, so we work very hard to ensure our international students feel at home. Students applying to Liverpool Hope will be supported right from their first enquiry, through to graduation and careers guidance. The University’s dedicated International Unit works with our international students, whether they are here for a year on a Masters programme, through to a full three or four year undergraduate degree. The Unit has an International Welfare Advice Support Officer to help with any queries and provide advice on visas and other issues. The University also offers new international students a fantastic orientation programme, helping to familiarise you with the University and meet fellow students, and enabling you to become part of the Hope community.
