Celebrate North Olga with Farming and Family Events

he fifth annual North Olga Day will celebrate the Lee County community with farming and family-friendly attractions and activities starting at 9 a.m., February 8, at 31 Produce, in Alva. Highlights of the free event include a car crush, spon- sored by the local fire department, a tractor parade, barrel race, lawn mower pulls, face paintings and alpacas. More than 25 craft and food vendors will offer products and refreshments at the event and antique tractors and other farm equipment will be showcased.

Valentine’s Day Vow Renewal Ceremonies at Lovers Key

in the air at Lovers Key State Park, on Fort My- ers Beach, but even more so on Valentine’s Day. The fifth annual Vow Renewal Ceremonies will take place at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., February 14, at the gazebo on the beach. Both ceremonies include a


champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres, coffee, cake and desserts, dancing, socializing, photographs, a spe- cial gift and door prizes. While the registration deadline is February 12, interested parties are encouraged to sign up early because the event sold out last year, leading to the addition of the second ceremony.
