For the first time, the audience will be placed not in the perspective of a sweet, beautiful Disney Princess but her adversary. Maleficent, the mistress of all evil, has ruthlessly sought ultimate power in numerous Disney features since her first appearance in Sleeping Beauty in 1959. This spring, Angelina Jolie will take to the screen as Maleficent to tell the story that led to her dark, sinister ways and the events of Sleeping Beauty.
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS
Fans of The Perks of Being a Wallflower are sure to love this heart- warming and beguiling love story. Being a teenager and dealing with relationships is difficult, but even more so for Hazel and Gus who share not just a mordant wit but the fear of oblivion, for they both live with cancer: Hazel must be accompanied by an oxygen tank and Gus has a prosthetic leg. Through a support group, the two meet and fight their fear by giving each other’s lives a special meaning and purpose.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
Marvel has shifted its focus from its super team The Avengers to an all-star cast of diverse alien criminals. Led by Star-Lord, Gamora , Drax the Destroyer, The Groot and Rocket Raccoon band together to escape and protect the galaxy from villain Ronan and the threatening power he could gain from a precious, mysterious orb. Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, WWE wrestler David Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Lee Pace respectively.
