“Stay” his musical career had a major breakthrough. You might think he is a newcomer but, Mikky has been in the music industry for a while now releasing several EPs. But it is only recently that his songs have become successful. He is currently promoting his EP tracks and he checked another worldwide collaboration with the French DJ David Guetta for his new single “One Voice”. It seems that 2014 will be a productive year for him.
We are coming back to The United Kingdom where Nina Nesbitt’s career is growing day by day. She was discovered by Ed Sheeran who invited her to appear in his “Drunk” music video but also to support him on his European tour. Ever since she has been releasing EP after EP, one of her songs peaked to number 21 in the UK, and she already embarked in two UK tours. What comes next for her? Probably her next year will be at least as busy as 2013 has been; with more concert invitations and singles to be charted.
In the end I want to talk about Gabriella Cilmi. She is not a new artist at all and she had a tremendous debut of career, with her song “Sweet About Me” becoming a massive international hit. What happened is that following these events her career suffered an abrupt decline so she decided to take a break and reflect upon it. She came back a few months ago without a big fuss but a strong new album. If she manages to find a smart marketing strategy, I think her work would get back on charts.
I know there are several other new singers who have great potential to make history next year. What I just did in this article was to make you aware of some talented people and to offer you the opportunity to explore their work. I hope that I succeeded and that you will become their next fans.
