Jupp, Stanford, and new sponsors join top line-up
Top comedian Miles Jupp will be the guest star at the Thames Valley Deals Awards at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre on April 24
Jupp, who has appeared on Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You, will do a stand-up turn at the event, which is hosted by Martin Stanford of Sky News.
The Deals Awards is the leading corporate finance event in the region. Two new sponsors have joined the line-up – BCMS will sponsor the Lawyer of the Year category, and Wilson Partners Corporate Finance will support the Alternative Lender category.

Deals must have been completed within the qualifying period – January 1, 2013 and January 31, 2014.

Miles Jupp started performing stand-up comedy in 2000 and has contributed to many BBC Radio 4 shows such as News Quiz, Just a Minute and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue. As well as creating Miles Jupp’s Real World he presents the highly popular panel show It’s Not What You Know and writes and stars in In and Out of the Kitchen which will transfer to BBC Television in 2014.
On television, Jupp continues to work as a comedian and presenter
appearing in such shows as Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Have I got News For You, Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Argumental and Just a Minute.
Martin Stanford, who is a regular Sky News anchorman, has presented the Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards for the past two years.
