The advance entries ensured that once again there were plenty of buyers around the sale ring although trade was typical for the time of year. Good quality cattle of all breeds continued to meet asustained demand. Well fleshed barren cows were particularly sought after. Aexcellent entry of store cattle. Aspecial entry of Friesian cows from Sillars, Clynblewog, who is giv- ing up milk production, sold to agood demand. Barren cows (21): Overall average £500 or 87p/kg.
