VOCAL AUDITION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL 2014 AUDITIONS
1. Sing high and low major scales and a chromatic scale: Use the syllable “ah”, quarter note at m.m.=80. Descend first on low scale Soprano High Scale G Alto

2. Sing back a variety of pitches given on tape using the syllable “ah”:
3. Sing back three short 4 to 6 note rhythmic melody given on tape, using the syllable “bah”, re-articulat- ed on each note.
4. Sing the following melody, unaccompanied. Change the key to suit your vocal range.
