Go in clean - come out green!
Microdochium Patch is undoubtedly the UK’s most devastating winter turf disease. The resultant scarring creates pitted putting surfaces that can remain uneven for months, until turf can finally recover in the spring.
Preventing disease attacks is essential to maintain playing surface quality and player satisfaction through the winter.
Medallion TL has proven it can be the most effective winter fungicide treatment for long-term disease control.
NEW TRIALS RESULTS
EARLY APPLICATION to target disease before it hits
All turf fungicides work most effectively if they are applied preventatively - before disease symptoms strike and playing surface quality is affected.
Reduction of pathogen
numbers in thatch and soil surface
LESS DISEASE
PRESSURE; REDUCED EARLY INFECTION
Earlier applications of Medallion TL Contact+ activity can give significant benefits including:
Protection
locked onto the leaf and crown of the plant
PREVENTS DISEASE INFECTION
Continued
uptake of active by roots
LONG LASTING RESULTS
Use GreenCast forecasts to identify periods of disease risk, weather conditions and soil temperatures. This will help to select appropriate fungicide strategies and time fungicide applications as effectively as possible to prevent damage and maximise protection –

Contact+ long-lasting results
During periods of changeable winter weather, temperatures can rise or fall significantly for short periods - putting extra stress on turf plants and creating conditions conducive to disease.
New trials have shown that, in addition to targeting disease spores in the thatch and protecting the plant leaf and crown, Medallion TL is also slowly taken up by roots and gradually moves into leaves and new growth.
key to
Medallion TL has continued to be recovered from new leaf in slow-growing turf up to four weeks after application - sufficient to protect turf should some winter growth occur.
