Puppy Up for 2 Million Dogs A

Puppy Up event to benefit the 2 Million Dogs Foundation, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., November 2, at GP’s Restaurant, in Jersey City, New Jersey, with live music, food vendors, games for kids and a doggie ice cream truck. Participation in a two-mile national group walk will be held at noon.

Activist Luke Robinson walked 2,000 miles with his two dogs from Austin to Boston to fulfill the promise he made to his dog, Malcolm, who died from cancer. “If two dogs can walk 2,000 miles to bring awareness to cancer, surely 2 million dogs can walk two miles,” he says.

The nonprofit 2 Million Dogs Foundation is committed to discovering the common links between canine and human cancers and the causes of these cancers through comparative oncology research.
