an old English saying that certainly holds true with Wildflower Ranch. Located in the Rancho Santa Fe/Encinitas area of San Diego County, this facility is the home of owner Simon Nizri along with several of his friends. The first impression is the obvious attention to detail, every inch is

well designed and laid out with an incredibly workmanship approach. Several barns on the property are well hidden from the others and each has a sense of tranquility and peacefulness. The amount of trees, grass, flowers and foliage make it an equestrian park and a horse’s haven at its best. Wildflower Ranch is as training center specializing in the sales of high
performance jumpers and jumper prospects. “I love the young ones,” says Simon. “The ranch business is representative of the amazing La Silla center in Monterey, Mexico that Poncho Roma owns. The horses are La Silla also” “I always wanted to move to the states,” he continues, “I rode back
east with George Morris and originally planned on moving there, but in my travels to show in California I saw this property and stayed west. The weather and location are ideal for me. This locations main attractions to me were the giant ring to train in and the many barns being so separate. It’s conducive to individual businesses that don’t get
in each other’s way.” Visiting this property is a pleasant afternoon well spent. Simon’s
plan is to offer this piece of property for sale and “do it all again” on something smaller. “I love the property but showing takes an exorbitant amount of time so I’ll downsize a little with the same feel,” says Simon with a smile.
