While it is important to note that a whopping 40% of holiday sales are conducted in November, don’t miss that 20% of sales in 2011 were conducted in October! That’s quite a significant chunk of change. Whether this can be attributed to consumers consciously seeking holiday merchandise out or to just holiday creep, remains to be seen.
