Roadworks warning MOTORISTS using the A20 London Road through Ditton could face traffic delays as work continues to install a new water pipe. South East Water’s £360,000 project to secure future water supplies to those living in the Maidstone area means both the London-bound and the Maid- stone-bound lanes will be tem- porarily narrowed. James Smith, Delivery Man-
ager for South EastWater, said: “To help keep traffic moving we will be narrowing both the London bound and Maidstone bound lanes where we are working. New Road and Sta- tion Road will be closed at the junction with London Road for three weeks in August. Work will take place in phases be- tween Papas Fish Restaurant and the Ditton Place junction, and is due to be completed by the end of October.

She will avoid a return to prison provided she lives within the law, and abides by her Asbo conditions.
