The Kings Arms, Boxley – Alfresco dining for all
The King’s Arms in Boxley is a traditional country dining pub that serves real ale. Guests can enjoy a pint of Greene King IPA, Harveys Best, Fuller’s London Pride or Doom Bar while relaxing in the picturesque pub’s lush garden. Children and dogs are welcome and the garden features sunny areas and shady spots as well as a children’s play so all the family can enjoy al fresco eating and drinking.
The King’s Arms serves a seasonal menu featuring fresh, local ingredients. The menu changes all the time but past dishes have included pan fried scallops on a bed of leek ribbons served with chilli butter, and local pan fried mallard duck breast served with mixed leaf salad and homemade plum jam. A bar menu is also available offering sandwiches, salads and wholesome dishes such
as liver and bacon with mash, sirloin steak and chips and peppers stuffed with ratatouille and feta. Tempting desserts include vanilla crème brûlèe and sticky toffee pudding.
As well as the pub’s cosy interior, complete with red chesterfield sofas and exposed oak beams, small parties can hire The Stable function room. A marquee is available for larger celebrations and staff will create special menus and personalise the occasion in every way possible.
