service you choice to use but assuming you choice a repu- table one your information is probably safer than it would be on your home computer. Most services use the same security as they do when pro- cessing credit cards. All of your information is encrypted using the 128-bit method and unreadable without the pass- word which is only kept by you. If you feel comfortable or not using a service that stores your information some- where else is up to you. I can be a skeptical person and I feel it is secure enough for my own financial and personal information.
The most important benefit of the cloud to me is that if your computer gets damaged or stolen you still have all of your information because it is all backed up. This alone can be priceless. It allows for easy group collaboration because multiple people can edit and view a single document at the same time whether in one room or 3,000 miles apart. Each member of the team can quickly and easily see the cur- rent numbers or version of the project without taking time to update each other or send out new copies. Another ben- efit is that your information is accessible from any computer or from a personal handheld device you can get access to those important things that get left behind at the office or at home and print them from anywhere. Have questions about the cloud or anything else tech- nology related feel free to send me an email. Or see my ad on pg 8.

The growth and improvement of the NHB is due to the dedication of its members who meet twice a week during the semester to rehearse a variety of musical styles on various levels from easy to medium-advanced.
