Tese modifications allowed Landis to achieve a LEED-H Platinum rating for the home; this is the highest LEED rating and only the second such rat- ing to be awarded for a home construction or reno- vation project Washington D.C. Landis restored the house to a style true to its original period and met
the stiff requirements of the historic preservation review boards. Ethan Landis says “Te quality of the construction, the atention to detail, the finish selec- tions, the performance of the home, the comfort of the homeowner, all of those things were very good.” Te company is very proud of this job and most of the practices used in this project have been incorporated into its regular business practices.
