Axes of power The HBZ Trunnion 120 offers axis travels of 1,270mm (X), 1,100mm (Y) and 900 mm (Z), with travel speeds up to 60m/ min. The spindles offer a range from 31Nm to 1,010Nm, with speeds from 6,000 to 30,000revs/min and powers from 31kW to 125kW. With similar axis travel speeds of 60m/min, the HBZ Trunnion 160 offers axis travels of 1,670mm (X), 1,350mm (Y) and 1,100mm (Z). This represents extremely high performance for machines of this size and they are said to ensure high precision in the high speed machining of aluminium, steel and titanium. Handtmann has already received its first national and
international orders for HBZ Trunnion 80 machines, as well as firm enquiries for larger machine sizes. Designed as standard machines, the HBZ Trunnion series enables Handtmann to offer a short-term availability of these
