Pitched roof offerings IKO PLC will be launching two new pitched roof products at this years’
Ecobuild exhibition at ExCel in London, 5th – 7th March (Stand S1806). IKOslate is a composite roof tile manufactured from mineral reinforced, 99 per cent recycled and re-engineered materials. Its unique structure gives it superior strength and makes it easier to handle and install. IKOslate has the same aesthetic qualities as slate because moulds of quarried slates are used to form the composite tiles. Ultimo HS breather membrane is able to cope with the demands of today’s house building in innovative ways, which are not possible with conventional underslating membranes. With the majority of membranes focusing simply on vapour permeability, there can be a danger of moisture overload as newly occupied (and heated) houses dry out quickly. However, Ultimo HS is an intelligent membrane that can deal with high levels of humidity and is able to absorb and release large amounts of moisture vapour in a measured, effective way. Designs for modern buildings
Geberit will be exhibiting at Ecobuild 2013 to present and showcase its new developments and innovations ideal for modern, sustainable building designs within private and public applications. Taking pride of place on Stand S349 will be Geberit’s new addition to its Sigma10 range of flushplates. The new design incorporates the very latest dual flush technology, controlled via infra-red, and has been styled for the next generation. Geberit’s Sigma50 flush plate has been modernised and refreshed by its designer, Christoph Behling. With his new design, Behling has incorporated gently curved buttons and removed the outer frame to create a seamless and timeless look as well as introducing a new colour, Umbra. Similarly, the manufacturer’s popular Sigma10 flush plates have also been given a re-design, and are available in a stainless steel finish for both the touchless and the mechanical versions.
