RVT Publisher’s Healthy Life & Times:
My dear RVT Readers, One of my Isagenix team-
mates, Deb English, took this picture of me in my home last November, showing off a new toy train I had picked up at a Christmas craſt fair in Sooke. In October I had been told by those “in the know” that I was living my life as someone
pulling behind me all my worries and woes from the past, just like a train engine pulling a handful of railcars behind it. Well, I was a tad insulted but did realize there was some truth in what was being said and so decided to make some changes in my living skills. Deb and I have spent a number of hours covering this topic
as she has been addressing her own dragons too. Our lives in Isagenix have helped tremendously. And we are finding as we add more and more folks to our teams, our lives are improving as we help others go through changes too. Magical stuff folks. I want all of you to jump aboard my Isagenix health train! You will get to experience: Better sleep, Improved memory, More energy, Smaller sized clothes, Longer endurance, More mus- cles, Less diseases. It can’t get any better than that! And IF you chose to bring others onto the team too, you also get to make some passive residual income! Extra cash sure comes in handy these days! In Sooke, I belong to and participate in many of the activi-
ties with the Harbourside Lions. Tis is a growing group that is incredibly active in the community, raising funds for nu- merous charities. We meet twice a month for meetings and spend some weekend time supporting and/or creating func- tions happening in the town. We also play well. In November, the Sooke and Langford Lions had a joint dance held at the Langford Legion. Te band played some 1960’s music that got me excited. Tat was when I had my teenage years so all those songs I knew and was on the dance floor enjoying again! Even got on stage once to assist the band by playing a tambourine!
What fun! Between the socializing with the wonderful Lions folks, and dancing almost every tune, I had a GREAT time! I love my new energy and stamina and pain-free joints. Tey came in handy! In the knitting world, I finished the Cinderella doll that was
requested of me by a dad and his daughter at the last RV Show. It is a topsy-turvydoll with Cinderella in her ball gown AND in her scullery clothes, in the same doll! I will being it to the next RV Show for the gent who requested it. On the right is the doll for my free draw
at my booth at the Earlybird RV Show hap- pening at the Abbotsford Tradex on Jan. 31 til February 3rd. Te cute doll’s name is Emily. Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings
I still go to Curves for workouts and weight liſting! I have muscles I have never had before now. As of January they are going to be open Monday thru Friday at 6:30 a.m. which is my time to attend, so my plan is to increase my activities to five days a week, to be able to build up even more muscles on my muscles. Tursday evenings, Vivienne, a friend and one of my Is-
agenix ladies, hosts a meditation night at her home. I am usu- ally able to attend and really enjoy that too. Our Chamber of Commerce does a monthly Breakfast Club
meeting that I attend. Networking stuff, which is always worth- while I have found. Teir normal monthly business meetings are held at lunchtime and that does not usually work for me but the breakfast timeslot most oſten works well. Te Business and Professional Women’s Club of Victoria
sent me an invitation to attend their November meeting in Victoria, which happened on a “free’ evening so I went and got excited by their vision. Ida Chong was the guest speaker and spoke on the personal challenges women encounter when entering politics. Tis BPW group’s objectives include encour- aging women to pursue stimulating careers; working toward improving social conditions for women; stimulating interest in politics and working to get more women elected to govern- ments; and encouraging women and girls to acquire further education and training. Tey have invited me to join them and I might just do that. Teir website is
www.bpwvictoria.com and their President, Margo Almond is at info@bpwvictoria. com. Tey are open to new members and are worldwide. As you all know, Christmas is my favourite time of year, and
though I went to press before the 25th, I’m sure it was a fun day as always! Love connecting with family! Looking forward to seeing you at the February and April RV
Shows! Show details on pages seven and 11. Haven’t heard anything further yet on a Vancouver Island Show. Stay tuned.
