Just 6 km from City Centre 340 Island Hwy,

Potrero County Park Overview

you get to Alpine you have gone too far. Te Viejas Casino is so much more than a casino. Tey have mini golf, a skating rink, a bowling alley, and restaurants galore. Tere is an award-winning Viejas Outlet Centre too, that is home to America’s favourite brand names. Lots of RV parking although not so level, and you must take a free shuttle to wherever you’re going. Make sure you sign up for the V Club Card, no free Play Money but lots of benefits! Tey have a great buffet at a very reasonable price. At 1,800 feet, you have none of the same weather issues as the Golden Acorn.

Tecate, Mexico Only a 10 minute drive (6 miles) from Potrero, Tecate is a town with about 65,000

people, and provides a glimpse of life in a non-tourist town. Take the tour at the famous Tecate brewery, an easy walk from the border and free! You can park on the US side at the convenience store for $5 all day; no need for a tourist card, just a valid passport. If you have never been to Mexico this is a great opportunity to experience a different culture without the pressure of big crowds or pushy vendors (as in Tijauna).
