even higher than sixth in the cham- pionship had he not missed the AMP round.
In his first season aboard a Super-
bike, Bodhi Edie finished every race seventh or higher on the Edie Rac- ing / Blue Streak / Fast Company BMW S1000RR. The Warman, Saskatchewan youngster capped off his year with a podium finish in the season finale. Significantly, Mopar’s support of
the national series extended be- yond the feature class. The com- pany showed its commitment to the up-and-comers of Canadian rac- ing by backing the Bazzaz Amateur Superbike class with product prizes for the race winners in each of the six rounds. Additionally, at the end of the year Amateur Superbike champion Trevor Daley was awarded a Jeep Off Road Trailer.
In the other classes that make up the national tour, Jodi Christie re- peated as K&N Performance Filters Pro Sport Bike champion, Philippe Masse won the Inside Motorcycles Amateur Sport Bike class, Steve Crevier was again crowned Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada XR1200 Cup champ, and Stacey Nesbitt won the Honda CBR250R National Race Series crown. The future looks very bright for the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship and Kevin Graham of Frontline CSBK Inc. is optimistic heading into the future. “We could not ask for a better title sponsor,” Graham said. “Mopar has been fantastic to work with. They have been very supportive and very understanding, especially when it comes to the economic challenges that a series and its racers are facing in this day and age. They continue to help us create new incentive pro- grams and remain committed to supporting the series with event displays, employee pricing on vehi- cles, event promotion, show assis- tance and more.
“Mopar would love to see TV or live web coverage as well so we are currently exploring that. We are cur- rently working on next season but are working towards a two- to three-year deal.”

In 2012, Mopar became the title sponsor of Canada’s national motorcycle racing series, the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship. Road racing legend Jordan Szoke (opposite page) emerged victorious to earn his record-extending eighth national Superbike title. Support classes in the Mopar CSBK champi- onship include the Honda CBR250R National Race Series (above and left), which provides a competitive platform for the next generation of Canadian racing stars. Mopar’s support for the series also included awarding product prizes to the winners of each of the tour’s six Amateur Superbike events.
Discussing Mopar’s participation, Mopar CSBK champ Szoke said, “I think the fans should thank them every chance they can.”
