with age, so every year it just keeps on getting better. I have been teased for my
alleged snoring but I can assure you all that I am in full control of my airways whilst snoozing. He claims to have a recording of me snoring, however I’ve heard it and am convinced there were roadworks in the background. No mention is ever made of the definite human smell when he coughs or laughs - seriously no animal could create that odour. And as he gets older the lack of muscle restraint gets worse! He’s got so stiff he’s raised the feet of the armchair I am secretly using - he sometimes feels the cushion and tuts at me but I don’t think he suspects anything. As I was saying, I’ve sat through those ads for high seat chairs for oldies and I’m struggling to climb off quick enough not to get caught! He must have raised the darn thing. He also has his good points, most days the toilet lid is left open - no I don’t drink the water; I’m not a springer-spaniel! It’s use is as a grooming mirror -
at least when he’s remembered to flush it. Anyway, the point is his hair has rapidly gone from being dark to clashing with the cutlery. I’ve checked in my mirror and I’m pleased to confirm my hair remains bright blue.
Just one last point before I leave you to decide who should retire;
SHOWER GEL by Patricia Robins
apparently he paid 50p for the pleasure of my company all these years and keeps
reminding me that when I’m retired he gets it back. Now that sounds like a financial incentive to discredit me! Still we know different, don’t
we?
