WOODSIDE ANIMAL WELFARE TRUST
WOODSIDE Animal Welfare Trust based in Elfordleigh, Plympton is currently looking after many animals seeking caring homes. If you are interested in offering a caring, permanent home to one of our rescue animals please contact the shelter on 01752 347503. Potential adopters are home checked to ensure an appropriate match and post homing support is given. In addition to being a re-homing centre Woodside carry out valuable work in the community such as offering and promoting low cost neutering. Our charity shops provide a vital source of income to allow us to help over 1,000 animals a year, please use and support our shops. Animal sponsorship is available, donations are welcome, fundraising efforts are always appreciated. Our next Winter Warmer takes place on Sunday 2nd December at the shelter where coffee, tea, soup, rolls and cake will be available between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Buster is a Lurcher / Collie mix aged 11 years. A delightful dog who is good with other dogs, cats, adults and children. He would be best suited to a home where there is someone around most of the time.
Akiera is a four year old Northern Inuit. She is looking for a home with no cats or young children as she is boisterous. New owners will need to put time into training and socialisation and experience of the breed would be beneficial.
Digby is a three year old Mastiff cross. He is a friendly, happy chap and has been good with dogs since his arrival. Whilst Digby is a gentle dog he is strong and has his playful side so would best suit a home without young children.
Kano is a beautiful twelve month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross English Bull
Terrier. He is a lovely friendly dog who loves everyone he meets but cannot be homed with cats.
Marty is a twelve month old Spaniel cross who is looking for an experienced, patient owner. He may benefit from a home with an existing calm dog. He is excitable and energetic and new owners must be prepared to take him to training classes. Marty will need an adult home and cannot be homed with cats.
Moss is a male, 8 year old cross
breed. He is a nice natured dog who is good with people and dogs. He would love a gentle retirement home where he will still get interesting walks although he has some weakness in his back legs. He cannot be re-homed with cats.
Elizabeth is a young adult cat
with a lovely friendly
nature and is fully house- trained.
Maya is a 5 year old female ABD. She is a sweet girl who loves to go on walks with other dogs. She is looking for a home where any children are older, 16 years +.
Lily
Lexi is 18 months old and would love a home with her close friend Lilly. They are a very affectionate pair who love to be stroked. They are good with children and will make lovely companions.

Kie is a six year old Staffi cross Boxer who has a lovely nature. She will need an active home with a secure garden. She is house trained but she cannot be homed with cats.
Star is a striking German Shepherd who is about 2 years old. She is an energetic but responsive dog who needs an experienced
home. She needs help to refine her manners but is improving all the time. Star would be best suited to a home where any children are 16 +.
