Walkhampton Art & Craft Exhibition and Sale supports the Devon Air Ambulance

This year’s Walkhampton Art and Craft Exhibition and Sale will be held from Thursday 30th August until Sunday 2nd September in Walkhampton Memorial Hall. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of traditional and modern art in different media, and a variety of craft, in textile, willow, clay and beadwork, along with handmade soaps, cards and photography, all of which will be for sale. Devon Guild of Craftsmen member Ian Strugnell will be demonstrating the craft of basket making. Refreshments including homemade cakes and light lunches will be

available. Entry to the exhibition is free with voluntary donations going to support the vital work of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust. On behalf of all the organisers, Sue Andrew said: ‘we look forward to welcoming you to our exhibition which shows an inspiring range of artistic talent from Dartmoor and beyond. We hope that visitors will give generously in support of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust which performs such a vital role in our local communities.’ There will also be a charity preview evening, with wine and nibbles, in aid of this worthy cause on Wednesday 29th August from 6.30 until 8.30 and all are welcome. The exhibition is open on Thursday 30th August to Saturday 1st September from 10am to 7pm and on Sunday 2nd September from 10am to 4pm.
