Bonfils’ vehicles travel thousands of miles throughout Colorado each year to make blood donation convenient


A blood donation can pass through as many as 10 sets of Bonfils’ employees hands on its way to helping a patient in need.

Bonfils Blood Center operates 7 community donor centers and up to 10 mobile drives each day. In 2011, 67,879 donors from around the state donated whole blood or platelets, plasma or red cells through an automated donation process.

10 Community Blood Drive Operations vans utilized for transporting staff and equipment to smaller blood drives.


Bonfils’ Appointment Center handled 636,237 calls in 2011 with topics ranging from donation locations, donor eligibility to making appointments.
