Bonfils provides many valuable services to help medical professionals achieve the best outcomes for their patients. n Bonfils’ Medical Affairs team is comprised of 4 physicians with decades of experience in transfusion medicine who consult with physicians around-the-clock on their blood transfusion cases from routine to complex.
n The Client Development group made nearly 100 visits to hospitals throughout Colorado to discuss topics such as blood product utilization and educational offerings. Road trips included travelling 270 miles to Rio Grande Regional Hospital in Del Norte, 190 miles to Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke and many more.
n In 2011, we launched a Customer Portal that allows healthcare partners to place

blood product orders online increasing efficiency by replacing the fax and phone order system. Clients also can check order status and know exactly which step of the process their order is in from received to shipped. There were 60,670 blood product orders placed through the portal in 2011.
