Bonfils Blood Center’s manufacturing, distribution and laboratory operations are open 24/7/365 to ensure that the community blood supply is safe and readily available to physicians and their patients whenever it is needed. n Bonfils collected 143,545 donations in 2011. This averages to 11,962 donations per month, 2,753 donations per week and 393 donations per day that are collected, processed and distributed by our staff of nearly 400 dedicated employees.


n There are up to 13 different tests including blood typing and infectious disease testing conducted on each donation.


n In 2011, Bonfils used more than 150,000 blood bags to do our lifesaving work.
