Shepherdstown‘s own unique

Skin Care Shop has opened its new downtown Frederick loca- tion on 23 East Patrick Street. “What we like most about our new location is that we have the best of both worlds. It gives us a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and grow while still keeping us close to our Shep- herdstown clientele who still visit and shop on-line,” said owner Patti Foss. “Our heart is in Shepherdstown but our new home is in Frederick, Mary- land,” added Foss. “Shepherdstown has contin-

ued to support us and it warms our hearts. Being located down- town was a wonderful experi- ence. We hope every one keeps coming to see us.,” said Foss.

Care Shop’ without Shepherd- stown,” said Foss. “Our original clientele made and continues to make what we do possible.” Foss dismissed any sugges-

tion that she moved her shop because economic conditions in downtown Shepherdstown have taken a downturn or do not look as promising. “Many have sug- gested that the economic cli- mate in Shepherdstown caused us to move but that is absolutely untrue. We did great in Shep- herdstown. It was more about a personal change for myself, Brian and Anna,” said Foss. The new location is not the

only change being made at the Skin Care Shop. In addition to their original lines and acces-

About Jim • 40 years of successful leadership & management experience • Proven job creator: (grew business revenue from $0 to $5M) • Combat veteran (Vietnam) & retired U.S. Navy (Commander) • Former Jefferson County Commissioner (2 years as President) • BA (Political Science); MBA (Finance) degrees • Married, 5 children & 5 grandchildren • Core beliefs: personal freedom, limited government, fiscal responsibility and family values

Its time for new leadership in West Virginia; not the same failed policies of higher taxes

and more regulation that have been driving good businesses and citizens out of our State; and not the same failed judicial, ethics, and education systems that make us unable to compete, and that under-serve our citizens and ill-prepare our children.

Citizens deserve a government worthy of respect. To that end, we need stronger ethics

rules and an end to Charleston cronyism. 80 years of one party rule hasn’t worked, and 81 years won’t work either. We need to vote for the future of our children and grandchildren, not a political party, and not another career politician. Please consider making me your advocate in Charleston, and let’s get to work.
