Interior Design Today presents the Project Gallery, a selection of interior spaces that have been designed from scratch or renovated to fantastic effect. In this issue, we travel to Poland for a truly intelligent hotel experience. Blacksheep have completed the design of Puro, the first in a chain of innovative new hotels that use the latest technology to enhance the overall experience. InMarylebone, London, renowned designer Lazaro Rosa Violan of Contemporain Studios in Barcelona has finished the Iberica restaurant with details including heavy tapestries and stunning blue and white tiles. In residential developments, Casa Forma presents aMayfair property on the third floor of a Georgian ‘Pottered’ building and Rendall andWright deliver just one of many stunning projects they have recently completed in the form of Country Lodges – a timeless light, bright, luxurious space as part of a golf and spa resort that feels like a luxury home-from-home.
PURO CLASS AND INTELLIGENCE Puro is an urban oasis, a ‘budget-intelligent’ hotel that has been fitted with the latest technology to enhance the overall experience for guests. Situated in the up and coming city ofWroclaw, this is the first in an innovative new chain of hotels in Poland and has been designed by Blacksheep. The company has designed the ground floor lobby area as a contemporary and open space with high-design Ligne Roset seating, amultimedia 'info wall' running 24 hour news and iPads that feature on custom- made stands. The cafe/bar area has a fresh and energetic feel with richly stained oak walls paired with lime green chairs and banquette seating. A palette of grey, green and yellow, compliments the oak walls that are used throughout the space. There is also a custom-made carpet by Blacksheep that runs throughout the hotel.
