A generous gift from Connie Anderson Calhoun ’57 and Merrell Calhoun made it possible for the Randolph College Chorale to travel to New York to perform Mozart’s “Solemn Vespers” in a festival concert at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Lynchburg The Lynchburg Chapter alumnae, former and current faculty, and friends

celebrated with Dr. William F. Quillian, Jr. as he marked his 99th birthday on April 13, 2012.

A chorus of “Minnie the Moocher” was requisite—Dr. Quillian sang along as members of Songshine led the group in a cheery rendition of his hallmark song. Dr. Quillian received a “wonderful deluge” of over 200 cards and birthday greetings and sends a thankful acknowledgement of the well wishes to everyone.
