This innovative scheme is being run by the Scottish Government, Argyll and Bute Council, Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), En- ergy Saving Scotland advice centre Highlands and Islands and local energy charity AL- Ienergy.
The Universal Home Insu- lation Scheme (or UHIS) means free insulation for homeowners and private sector tenants.
