WELCOME to the September issue of West Coast Review.


As we come to the end of the ‘summer holidays’ a few of us will have some tall tales about our adventures or our time on the road.


And this month’s West Coast Review is no different, as we talk to Benderloch’s Angus MacColl, part of a trio of world- class Argyll pipers, who toured the US down the famous Route 66. We also meet Argyll and Bute’s rugby  effort to cover the entire county sees him clock up thousands of miles in a matter of months. We also have the latest instalment from the Kitchen Gardener, Yvonne Anderson, and Kate Humble tells us what we should be doing to help protect birds this autumn. For our Life Through the Lens feature, we take the short jump back in time to 1994.
