• KYOCERA Document Solutions has promoted Rosie Guest to the role of IT channel account manager within its six strong IT channel team. Previously an IT channel account executive specialising in managed print and service delivery, Guest joined KYOCERA in 2009 as a business development executive and was promoted to the executive role in September 2010. She looks after 11 resellers across the South East and ensures the smooth delivery of KYOCERA's MDS (managed document services) into the IT channel. She says: “I help our partners understand the KYOCERA offer and help them respond to their customers. By focusing on providing a prompt, efficient response I’ve developed and grown my designated accounts.”


• The University of Reading has awarded Malcolm Head, from The Head Partnership Solicitors, the title of ‘Visiting Fellow in Legal Services’ to the university’s School of Law. The title award comes in recognition of Head’s commitment to the faculty through his lecture work and professional career advice to the department’s undergraduate and graduate law students. “Over the last three years Malcolm has been a regular guest lecturer for the School on a range of topic areas as well as providing career and business advice to the students,” explains Christopher Newdick, professor of health law, University of Reading. His duties will resume with the new academic year and with an enhanced programme of lectures and seminars.


• Full-service ecommerce agency Metakinetic, has appointed Kay Harding (pictured) as search marketing specialist, tasked with driving the growth of the agency’s specialist ecommerce search marketing team. Harding joins Metakinetic from search marketing agency Guava, where she was PPC manager.


• Integralis, a global provider of IT security and information risk management solutions has announced the appointment of Tom Salkield to the position of professional services director (UK). Salkield will drive forward the development of Integralis’ professional services organisation to deliver technology, information security and governance, risk and compliance practices. These enable customers to meet the challenges of reducing costs while managing their risk and meeting the demands of regulators to demonstrate they are taking the appropriate security measures. Over the past 15 years Salkield has built up experience both in IT security technology and business management. Prior to taking up the position with Integralis he was a director at Capgemini, where he held senior leadership roles driving business transformation for clients facing security challenges. Previously he established and built up the highly successful security practice at NetStore.


• Kempton Carr Croft has announced the following appointments within the company. Rob Kerrigan (left) has been promoted to marketing director, with overall responsibility for co-ordinating marketing activities within the company. Kerrigan joined Kempton Carr Croft in 2005 and now takes on this role in addition to his current roles in commercial property agency, commercial and residential valuations and LPA receivership work. Simon Mills (right) has been promoted to associate director and will head up the valuation department. Mills takes on the responsibility of running and co-ordinating the valuation team, including the allocation of valuations for all banks and other financial institutions and to co-ordinate with the rest of the valuation team on the marketing approach for this section of the business. Kempton Carr Croft have a total of 11 RICS registered valuers with vast experience in valuing a wide range of commercial and residential property types.
